Griffith, you can travel Chicago to New York City with a young B&O Management Trainee who, camera in hand, recorded this great railroad when both steam and early diesel ruled the main line. In addition to trains, Griffith recorded the ongoing activity on the railroad he was about to begin work for: its equipment and facilities, both the historic and new innovations.
