Although much maligned, the Penn Central had a fascinating eclectic collection of rolling stock. When new and freshly painted it could be quite appealing. Originally published in 1998, Penn Central Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment is pure PC; no PRR, NYC, NH cars not repainted by PC, but Penn Central as it was supposed to be!
