Volume 1: Volume 1 kicks off coverage of this mega-railroad system.  Coverage includes motive power from CB&Q, GN, NP, SP&S, and SLSF, plus newly purchased units by BN.  Starting with locomotive #1, Volume 1 takes us to #2999, covering switchers, first-generation roadswitcher built by Alco, Baldwin, and EMD.  Second-generation coverage includes GP35’s, GP38’s and more.  Coverage concludes with BN-only rebuild models such as GP28M, GP28P, and others.

Volume 2: GP40/50, RS2/3, C415-424-425-636, B30-7A, FA1/2, U-boats, SD7/9/24 and other models are detailed in this all-color exploration of the new railroad that resulted from the merger of the GN, NP, CB&Q, SP&S, and SLSF.
